Buying a  home is usually an emotional experience.  People make the decision to purchase  
 based upon their "feelings". The subconscious appeal that you create may affect your sale

 Keep lawn clean, neat, cut and trimmed

 Accent entry with colorful flowers
 Ensure toys, garden tools, etc. are out of sight.
 Keep pool and spa clean
 If winter, keep sidewalks & driveway shoveled
 and clear of snow & ice
 If winter, put out photos of yard &

 Fresh paint if necessary, especially on trim and entry door
 Entry lights bright and in working order
 Patio furniture clean and attractively arranged
 Pet areas clean and odor free

 Carpet and flooring clean or replaced
 Walls clean, touched up if necessary
 Good ventilation throughout house
 Shiny clean baths, kitchen, mirrors and
 appliances
 Remove clutter from kitchen and bathroom
 countertops
 High intensity bulbs in lighting fixtures for extra  
 brightness
 Repair or replace handles, towel racks, knobs
 
 Garage, Closets & Storage Areas
 Reduce cluttered appearances
 Neatly organized and clean

 Showings
 Open blinds & curtains and turn on lights for maximum brightness
 Take pets for a walk
  If possible, leave during a showing
